Most users are up and running within 15 minutes. Simply create your account, add your company details and logo, and you're ready to start adding clients and sending estimates. You can import existing client data from a CSV file to speed things up even more.
Not at all. Tabsy is designed for business owners, not IT professionals. If you can use email and basic office software, you can use Tabsy. Our interface is intuitive and we provide step-by-step guidance for every feature.
Yes! We offer a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required to start. You can add team members, send real estimates, and process actual payments during your trial. At the end, simply enter your payment details to continue.
Costs

Pricing & Billing

Tabsy starts at $20/month for 1 user with all features included. Additional users cost $5/month each (for users 2-10) and just $1/month each (for users 11+). For example, a team of 5 users costs $40/month, and a team of 15 users costs $70/month. There are no feature tiers - everyone gets everything.
No hidden fees from Tabsy. The only additional costs are standard payment processing fees when you accept payments from clients (charged by Stripe or PayPal, typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). E-signature providers like DocuSign may have their own fees depending on your plan with them.
Absolutely. Add users whenever you need them and your bill adjusts automatically. If you remove users, you'll see the savings reflected on your next billing cycle. There are no long-term contracts or commitments - you can cancel anytime.
Yes! Pay annually and get 2 months free, which saves you about 17%. Annual billing is calculated based on your team size at the time of purchase. Contact us for custom quotes on larger teams.

Create professional estimates using our templates or build your own. Add line items, descriptions, quantities, and pricing. Send estimates directly to clients via email. Clients can view, approve, or request changes online. Once approved, convert an estimate to an invoice with one click.
Tabsy integrates with leading e-signature providers like DocuSign and HelloSign. Attach contracts to your estimates or send them separately. Clients receive an email, review the document, and sign electronically. You get notified instantly when contracts are signed, and both parties receive a copy.
Through our integrations with Stripe and PayPal, you can accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), debit cards, and ACH bank transfers. Clients can pay directly from their invoice with a single click. Funds are deposited to your bank account on your payment processor's schedule.
Yes! Perfect for retainer clients or subscription services. Set up an invoice once, choose the frequency (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.), and Tabsy automatically generates and sends invoices on schedule. You can also set up automatic payment collection if clients have a card on file.
Each client engagement can have an associated project. Use visual boards to track progress, create tasks, set deadlines, and assign work to team members. Add milestones to break large projects into phases. Clients can optionally be given view access to see project progress.

Absolutely. We use bank-level 256-bit SSL encryption for all data in transit. Your data is stored in secure, SOC 2 compliant data centers with redundant backups. We never sell or share your data with third parties. Our infrastructure is monitored 24/7 for security threats.
Yes, your data is always yours. You can export clients, invoices, estimates, and other data at any time in standard formats (CSV, PDF). If you ever decide to leave Tabsy, you can take all your data with you.
We maintain 99.9% uptime. Our platform is built on redundant infrastructure across multiple availability zones. In the rare event of scheduled maintenance, we perform updates during off-peak hours and notify users in advance.
